Fabric Descriptions

1080D Nylon (Pathotech)

aA premium fabric that incorporates the superior physical performance of high denier nylon with the added value of having anti-fungal and anti-bacterial treatments impregnated into the fabric during milling.

1000D PVC (Naizil)

Our 18oz polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is FR rated, 100% waterproof, and easy to decontaminate in the field using standard hard surface disinfecting products. Used primarily in the construction of bags exposed to the elements.

1000D Nylon (Cordura)

The industry standard for building durable, long lasting bags for first responders.  Our 1000D nylon is lighter and more flexible than PVC.  It is highly water and abrasion resistant and is easy to clean and disinfect.

1000D PVC (Tarpaulin) 

This 18oz polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is 100% waterproof and easy to decontaminate in the field using standard hard surface disinfecting products. Less resilient and flexible than Naizil, it is a great PVC alternative for smaller, internal bags and pouches.

600D Polyester (Sportdura)

An excellent choice for lighter duty equipment bags.  Similar to 1000D nylon in weight and feel, it is slightly less durable and not as flexible.  A thin, PVC backing makes this fabric waterproof.  Easy to clean and disinfect.

420D Nylon (Sportlite)

One of the lighter fabrics we work with, it has a similar PVC backing as Sportdura.  This choice is waterproof but not as flexible as our 1000D nylon.  An excellent choice for simple bags that will not see heavy work.
